Reviews

Quartz Skeleton Clock Movement is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kit I have bought 5 of these kits as gifts and am very happy with this movement. It is easy to fit into a custom made mantle case or under a glass dome. Fit it with a good quality battery and keep the movement clean and this will make a great conversation piece and functional clock.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never worked I was really looking forward to having a nice clock for my office. Unfortunately, after searching for the right clock and patiently waiting, it never worked. I even tried every new battery we have. Was hoping to order more products and build more clocks as a hobby but I might be rethinking that now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor time keeping. Very poor time time keeping, both the original which lasted 10-years, and the 2016 replacement which was worse.

I am interested in this mechanism.. I was wondering, the part that is being for sale is only the mechanism ( gears, spurs, place of battery etc. ) correct? It is not by any means fixed on the plate with the roman numbers? Also do you ship to Greece?

Asked by: Stergios

Hi there. Am interested in the above product. Would like to enquire if what the mounting mechanism is as i would like to connect it to a metal piece. Would also like to remove the minute hand mechanism. is this possible? thank you very much. warmly.

Asked by: Gurpreet
Hello, this clock movement is mounted using two screws that would need to pass through your piece of metal up into the two legs. It is possible to remove the minute and/or sweep hand mechanism, but doing so may cause the movement to lose time and will void the product warranty.
