New England Wall Clock Kit is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second one first is on wall, second to be a gift. I bought this a year ago, used the parts as patterns to build the clock our of Oregon Black walnut. The Walnut clock is absolutely gorgeous and the chimes are great during the day and with night silence feature clock is a real masterpiece. Decided to clean out shop so I put together the second clock, out of the original pieces. A few things that I would recommend moving the clock dial holder back a 1/4" or 3/8" this would allow a regular insert to fit in the case. A large square clock dial would also help if you just use regular glass in the door. The screened glass is nice but a clear glass door would allow some glass film stained glass looks, very pretty. I used gunstock stain and it just stands out as a cherry wood clock.
