Reference Guide for All Quartz Movements

Reference Guide for All Quartz Movements

A Dimension: Total length of the threaded movement mount bushing will be 1/8" more than the Maximum Dial Thickness.

B Dimension: Maximum dial thickness is the maximum combined dial and mounting panel thickness that will still allow use of the rubber grip washer, brass washer and hex nut.

C Dimension: Total hand shaft length is the measurement from the face of the movement to the end of the minute hand shaft.

D Dimension: This 1/8" dimension is how far the sweep second hand or closed nut (when second hand is not used) will extend beyond the C Dimension (or total hand shaft length). This is a very important dimension when there will be a glass panel in front of the clock face. The glass panel should have a minimum of 1/8" clearance to the sweep second hand or closed nut.
