Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPER HIGH QUALITY RADIO SIGNAL (ATOMIC) WATCH This watch is truly high quality as the case and components are well made. The back is laser engraved as I have seen on $400 and up watches in other brands. I think most people may not follow directions and other watches may not have to have the second hand started before you're supposed to move the hands manually, but if instructions are followed, this watch is better than you'd expect. I get strong signal from leaving it at a westward facing window and I am on the east coast, 120 miles from the ocean. It will tell you whether it got a signal last night, tell you am or pm, and if the battery is low by the movements of the second hand. Just don't get impatient and when the second hand stops from an action with the buttons, after you pushed in the crown, just wait for the internal mechanism to catch up and move the second hand again before you try to manually do so. After my initial setup, I never have to touch it again except to maybe push s1 (button on top) to see if it stops at 12 (signal received last night) or if it stops at 6 (signal not received) At the window it always gets signal and it gets signals from other countries in the world also, meaning that this is a newer technology. Well worth the money. I bought 5 watches from Klockit as well as some other things and will buy more in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Bought this for my wife since she did not have the atomic feature. And it was a great price. It is attractive, better than anticipated, and the radio control feature works just fine. Checking to see if the signal was received is also easy. Highly satisfied. Only quibble is the need to add an additional hole to the leather strap since the watch fit a little loose on her wrist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very readable I bought this because I want an easy reading atomic watch. It is very easy to read and as long as I keep it on my forearm I can do any activity I want to. I hope this atomic watch lasts as long as my last one did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent buy if conditions are right The size: As a woman’s watch it is a little bulky, unless you are a husky sporty woman. I use it as a man’s watch, and it is of smaller diameter, but thicker, than most of man’s watches. I find it O.K. for everyday use. The instruction sheet: It has all details needed, but you won’t be able to read it; it is printed in something like 4 pt. size characters. You better download instruction sheet mentioned on Klockit site. The signal reception: I live in a North Houston suburb where there are no high or steel structures. The reception of the time radio signal is excellent. Every morning at 3:00 am the watch stops and it takes less than 3 minutes for watch to receive the signal and reset itself (no matter where the watch is: in the middle of the apartment building, near a computer, or on my hand). I have had it for two months. So far it worked flawlessly. In Montreal, Canada, however, where I have sent a unit as a gift, it cannot receive the signal. Although the distance from Fort Collins, Colorado, to Montreal is inside the stated limits, Montreal seems to be in a relatively dead zone, plus high steel buildings, that all makes it impossible for this watch to receive the radio signal. I was told that even Citizen Skyhawks (a $500 watch, known as highly sensitive to time radio signals) can rarely receive the signal in Montreal. Thus, one has to check if the location where you will be using this watch is receiving the signal strong enough. If it is, you will love this watch. In addition, the price is so low that it looks like receiving it for free!

How is the battery changed? Are there screws on the back of the watch to be able to get to the battery?

Asked by: Grandma Lou
Hi Grandma Lou, to change the battery the press fit back plate will have to be removed. A small notch is on the plate to be used with a tool such as a small screwdriver to remove the plate. Once the plate is removed the battery can be easily replaced.
