The Quartz Movement Module Kit includes an un-assembled standard quartz movement, detailed assembly instructions, AA battery, hour, minute and second hands, 5 7/8" diameter styrene dial and mounting hardware. Students assemble quartz movement to create a working clock. This kit can be an individual or class project. Instructors can combine this project with additional research requirements. The hands-on individual or group project helps to promote interest in science, manufacturing and electronics.
