because it is flat on both ends, we recommend mounting it in a stable base.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY & WOOD FINISHING STEPS:
The following assembly and finishing steps are easy to complete by just utilizing the step by step illustrated and written instructions provided with the kit.
Glue dowels into the top of the instrument mount stand and then mount the top plate
Glue the bottom plate to the base plate
Stain and/or finish
Place the Galileo thermometer into the top plate and mount the bottom/base plate assembly with the provided screws
Mount the weather instruments and clock movement
Set the proper time and complete the certificate of origin
