Both the chair and settee are styled after traditional American designs dating from the 1760’s to the 1820’s. The deeply scooped seats are NorthernWhite Pine, the legs, spindles and arm posts are turned from hard Maple, and the arm rests and steam-bent bows are made of oak. Each kit is pre-drilled and pre-cut to ensure proper assembly and a beautiful finished product. Wedges, pins, and detailed instructions are also included with each kit. These kits do require some additional woodworking tools such as a power sander, wood chisels, coping saw, rubber mallet, and wood glue.
