Born in Philadelphia, Joe Sambataro attended Philadelphia College of Arts and became an honor graduate of the Layton School of Art. His extensive travels on several continents has accounted for his ability to paint a wide variety of subjects. “I am fortunate to be doing what I love. Art is a form of communication through which I can express the deep feelings within my being.”
Sambataro has sold over 2500 originals and has completed over 200 murals. He also has 50 images in print. His art has been a part of a number of private collections including: The Kennedy Foundation, Presley Estates, John Lennon, and Willie Nelson. He has also spent time as a lecturer and judge for art leagues and juried contests.
