Here are some of Klockit's Helpful Hints for buying, using, and storing KraftKote and Tabletop KraftKote. All hints apply to both KraftKote and Tabletop KraftKote.
Buying KraftKote:
If you are unsure about how much to buy or you want to make sure KraftKote can be used for your specific project, please feel free to call Klockit first (1-800-556-6474) before placing an order. KraftKote is non-returnable and can only be shipped via ground service within the Continental United States. Please Note: No RUSH delivery available on Kraftkote. Because it is considered a hazardous material, KraftKote cannot be shipped through the United States Post Office.
Using KraftKote: For best results, you should seal your project first with a water-soluble solution of four parts white glue to one part water or use our #36666 Seal Coat. This will help eliminate some of the bubbles that occur when applying KraftKote. Do not use polyurethane varnish or an oil-based sealer to seal your project. Pour at 1/8" thick at each pour.
Storing KraftKote: Store all KraftKote in original containers, sealed tightly in a dark area to extend the shelf life. Store at a temperature between 70 degrees F-80 degrees F and a humidity level below 60%. Shelf life is one year.
