Clocks with our patent-pending Set & Forget® technology will automatically spring forward and fall back for Daylight Saving Time. Each clock with Set & Forget® has a microchip that is pre-programmed with a calendar that tells the clock the exact day and time on which to change. They are super-easy to set up: you put in the batteries and set the hands as you would any other quartz clock.
There are no signals or antennas required!
If you stay up to see the clock switch, here is what you will see:
In the spring when we move our clocks forward for Daylight-Savings Time, the hands of the clock will fast forward an hour in about 8 minutes.
In the fall when we return to Standard Time by moving the hands of the clock back an hour, the hands of our clock will move very slowly for about 1 1/4 hours until the correct time is shown.
