Copper Fire Pit, Steel Fire PitAs opposed to most copper fire pits in the market, our copper fire pits are individually handcrafted; being hammered to shape by the coppersmiths themselves. This is a very important distinction because mass-produced fire pits are shaped from top to bottom, making the bottom of the bowl thinner than the rest of the bowl. Because the fire is at its hottest at the bottom, mass-produced fire pits cannot withstand the same heat as our hand-hammered fire pits, causing them to last a much shorter period of time than our thicker fire pits. The melting point of pure copper is 1,981 degrees Fahrenheit as compared to 1,100 degrees Fahrenheit for mixed material. Our fire pits will last longer, insuring many years of enjoyment.
